Recent Reviews Bear Den Aspen
- Britney Crowe (2 weeks ago):
The Bear Den is a nice spot for a casual meal in Aspen. I ordered a burger, and while it was good and satisfying, it wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had—especially considering the price. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was friendly, which made for an enjoyable visit overall. If you’re looking for a convenient place to grab a bite in Aspen, it’s worth checking out, but I personally think there are better values in town.

Fantastic little spot! I had the BD Club Sandwich with grilled chicken and it was excellent — fresh ingredients, great flavors, and perfectly prepared. The service was outstanding, attentive without ever feeling rushed. The rest of the family loved their meals as well. The breakfast burritos were hearty and flavorful, the French Toast Board was a hit with its sauces and presentation, and the Colorado Wagyu was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Great food, great service, and a great little restaurant. We’ll definitely be back.
- Jennifer Lynn (2 weeks ago):
Absolutely adored this spot. The food was amazing as were the drinks. I hate espresso martinis normally, but was convinced to try these and wow. Delicious. The service was very chill, which was so refreshing. They also love dogs so my little pup was super welcome and we cannot wait to go back!

Delicious breakfast to end our trip! No wait, but we went at 10:30 am on a weekday. Definitely recommend the breakfast burrito, it felt like the best deal and was great! Just so you know, the rest room is in a separate building next door so if it’s raining/snowing, you should be prepared

The vibes are impeccable. The Thai noodle salad was incredible, but the Burrata Salad was lacking in flavor due to the fruits not being ripe. Service was incredible friendly, but slow. Still absolutely worth going.
- Katrina Marmor (6 months ago):
Best happy hour! The fondue is so delicious, have tried most of the menu and everything is super flavorful. The cocktails are beautiful and taste great. Awesome value and such a cozy setting. Already can’t wait to go back!
- Samantha (5 months ago):
The green machine with vodka was delicious! Waited quite long for water & to get our order taken. The food was good but nothing special. One egg on the Benedict was overcooked.
- Leslie Haddock (5 months ago):
Extremely expensive ($165 for 3 people with no alcoholic beverages, just coffees) and service is hit or miss. Portion sizes are huge. While food is good it’s not great and for that price point it should be great. It’s also an extremely small place (no bathroom inside), like you can barely get by people or tables, maybe 6-7 tables and a few bar spots, again a VERY tiny place. I wish the prices were not so high, it’s so disappointing.
